Notre Dame Football Trust, Love, Commitment 1937-2026 Shirt – Lou Holtz Memorial T-Shirt

Notre Dame University announces that legendary head coach Lou Holtz passed away on March 4, 2026, at the age of 89. Holtz coached Notre Dame from 1986 to 1996, winning 100 games with the program and leading the team to a perfect 12-0 season and the 1988 national championship.

His connection to “Belief, Love, Commitment” was particularly profound. In a discussion at Notre Dame in January 2026, former player Byron Spruell described those three values as lessons learned from Holtz and as principles that shaped the brotherhood around the Notre Dame rugby team. Similar words appear at the foot of Holtz’s statue on campus as a reflection of his lasting influence.

Notre Dame Football Trust, Love, Commitment 1937 2026 Shirt

The shirt features several emotionally significant phrases, including “Faith, Love, Dedication,” “Forever an Irish Warrior,” and “Thank you for the memories, Coach.” Together, they celebrate more than just victories and championships—they reflect the leadership, loyalty, discipline, relationships, and lasting impact a coach can have on generations of players and fans.

The Notre Dame Football Trust, Love, Commitment 1937-2026 Shirt connects a significant moment in 2026 with one of the most memorable coaching eras in Notre Dame history. Instead of focusing solely on statistics, the design highlights Holtz’s philosophy of sustainability and the relationships that have shaped his legacy.

Keep Coach Holtz’s message with you on the shirt. Wear it to commemorate an unforgettable champion coach, honor the values he instilled in generations of players, and carry the spirit of trust, love, dedication, and Notre Dame football forward.
